        ELIMINATE THIS DUST!!          

 The picture below is of  beans combined that were not rolled, if  they had been rolled there would be no dust or dirt.  Also, rolling eliminates the problems with  football-size and smaller rocks by pushing them into the ground.  There are no pods left in the field due to being able to cut closer to the ground.  There is little or no damage done to guards or cicle.

Some people roll after they plant or when the beans are 4" or 5" tall.  Some are even rolling before the planter!
